Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Platform Engineer to deliver 24x7 operational support for Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Purview, and related collaboration platforms. You will manage email services, governance, and automation, coordinating with Microsoft and other vendors as part of a global managed services team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Microsoft 365 Administrator, Messaging Administrator, Teams Administrator, SharePoint Administrator, or related certification preferred.
• Experience with Exchange hybrid/coexistence, Microsoft Purview, Entra ID/App Proxy, Power Platform administration, and enterprise collaboration governance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Exchange On-Premises and Exchange Online services, including mailbox, distribution list, shared/resource mailbox, permissions, retention-related requests, and mail-enabled objects.
• Provide 24x7 operational support with incident/problem/change management, monitoring service health, and reporting.
• Coordinate with Microsoft support and vendors for escalations, outages, and platform advisories.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and operational knowledge articles.
• Support SaaS platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, Eptura, Dropbox/Box, and Notion, plus Power Platform environments.
