Job summary

STRAITS RETAIL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Technician or Supervisor to plan and supervise building maintenance and M&E systems.

You will oversee contractors, ensure compliance with safety standards, and conduct regular inspections. Candidate must have a diploma or related qualification with at least 5 years of relevant experience, plus strong communication skills. The role is on a 1-year contract basis and requires the ability to manage emergencies and mentor

Qualifications

• This role requires a diploma or equivalent qualification in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Technician or Supervisor.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• This role is offered on a 1-year contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement maintenance schedule for building maintenance, M&E plants and equipment.
• Supervise all M&E works carried out by term and ad-hoc contractors, including tenant's fitting-out contractors.
• Monitor, direct and ensure that all contracted works comply with specifications and statutory requirements.
• Conduct inspections of buildings to ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Inspect M&E plants and air-conditioning equipment and establish follow-up actions.
• Ensure technicians complete daily routine works and provide guidance as a mentor.
• Establish good rapport with tenants and attend to their complaints.
• Attend to all emergency situations.
• Be responsible for preventive maintenance records and periodic reviews.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by superiors.

• Ensure technicians complete daily routine works, in accordance with checklist and SOP and provide guidance as a mentor.
• Establish, maintain good rapport with tenants and attend to their complaints.
• Attend to all emergency situations.
• Responsible for the preventive maintenance of equipment and ensure that the records are kept up to date for periodic review.
• Any other duties assigned by superiors from time to time.

Requirements
