Job summary

VRL ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced M&E site supervisor to manage and coordinate installation works at construction sites, ensuring compliance with specifications and drawings.

The role involves preparing cost estimates, technical drawings, and reports while supporting project teams through all stages of the project lifecycle. You will perform BOQ calculations, source quotations, attend meetings, conduct site inspections, and oversee day-to-day operations to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Calculate BOQ and invite subcontractors for accurate cost estimation.
• Source quotations and specifications from suppliers and contractors for project budgeting.
• Collect BOQ/BQ data and arrange detailed cost comparisons to support decisions.
• Attend internal and external meetings to coordinate project progress and resolve issues.
• Perform site inspections to verify work against specifications and drawings.
• Prepare reports and method statements documenting project status and procedures.
• Supervise daily site installation activities to ensure quality and safety.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, including supervising and monitoring site labor.
• Conduct handover inspections with consultant engineers and clients to confirm completion.
• Review technical specifications, M&E drawings, and related documents for accuracy.
• Coordinate and update drawings with clients and main contractors based on meetings.
• Produce M&E services design drawings (electrical, ELV, fire protection, plumbing, waste).
• Draft detailed M&E shop drawings, as-built drawings, SLDs, layouts and schematics.
• Provide technical support to project managers and engineers throughout all stages.
