Job summary

SHUN YI CHENG CONTRACT ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a capable M&E site supervisor to oversee daily M&E works at project sites in Singapore and coordinate ACMV/electrical systems with subcontractors and site teams.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in M&E, 3–4 years of Singapore site experience, and knowledge of AutoCAD. You will review drawings, liaise with consultants and clients, manage safety and progress, and support testing and handover processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, M&E Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–4 years of relevant site M&E experience in Singapore.
• Practical experience in ACMV/HVAC, electrical systems and control/BMS systems.
• Able to read and understand M&E drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in site coordination, installation, inspection and testing & commissioning.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily M&E works at project sites.
• Coordinate ACMV, electrical, controls/BMS and other M&E services with subcontractors and site teams.
• Review and interpret M&E drawings, specifications and shop drawings.
• Coordinate M&E installation works with architectural, structural and other trades.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project progress, workmanship, quality and site safety.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate rectification works.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and handover of ACMV/electrical/control systems.
• Prepare site reports, inspection records, progress updates and other project documentation.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with project management teams.
• Ensure works comply with relevant Singapore standards, codes and safety requirements.
