Job summary

P-CON MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a responsible Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to oversee mechanical and electrical works on site.

The role requires liaising with contractors and design teams, reviewing drawings and shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with contract documents and safety standards. The candidate will supervise the installation, manage defects, and coordinate inspections, ensuring timely project completion and smooth handover to maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess RTO M&E certificate from IES.
• Ability to study contract documents and drawings for discrepancies.
• Coordinate with contractors and design team for shop drawings and samples.
• Supervise the construction of mechanical and electrical works on site.

Responsibilities

• Study contract documents and drawings to identify discrepancies and escalate.
• Coordinate site works with contractors/sub-contractors.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and tidiness on site.
• Ensure installation methods and materials comply with contract docs.
• Liaise with contractors/design team for shop drawings, catalogues, and samples.
• Witnessing, inspection, and coordination of site works as required.
• Supervise M&E works with resident staff for project completion.
• Generate defects lists and monitor rectification progress.
• Follow up on consultant comments on shop/as-built drawings.
• Review operation and maintenance manuals.
• Assist in handing over installations to maintenance staff.
• Undertake other duties as instructed by Employer.
