MCC Singapore is seeking a senior M&E lead to oversee all mechanical and electrical works for complex projects in Singapore. You will coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams, review drawings, and drive value-engineering and safety practices across the project lifecycle.
You will lead BIM coordination, clash detection, and handover activities, ensuring compliance with QA/QC and local codes while maintaining schedule and cost targets.
Lead and manage all M&E works, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality, statutory, and client requirements.
Lead and manage all Mechanical & Electrical works for the project.
Develop and monitor M&E construction schedules aligned with the master programme.
Ensure M&E installation complies with contract specifications, drawings, Singapore Codes of Practice, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate M&E activities with civil, structural, and architectural teams.
Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and technical proposals.
Monitor project progress and implement recovery plans where necessary.
Coordinate with consultants on design development and technical clarifications.
Resolve design conflicts and construction issues.
Lead BIM coordination meetings and clash detection reviews.
Review coordinated M&E drawings before construction.
Supervise M&E engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
Ensure proper manpower deployment and resource planning.
Monitor site productivity and installation quality.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.
Review variation orders (VO), claims, and subcontractor payment recommendations.
Monitor M&E budgets and cost performance.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and technical submissions.
Participate in procurement planning and vendor selection.
Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (ISO).
Monitor inspection and testing activities.
Ensure timely closure of NCRs and defects.
Lead commissioning, testing, and handover processes.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations.
Promote safe work practices among project teams.
Participate in safety inspections and incident investigations.
Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, utility agencies, and subcontractors.
Attend project coordination and technical meetings.
Build strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
Manage testing and commissioning activities.
Coordinate integrated systems testing.
Ensure successful statutory inspections and approvals.
Oversee preparation of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and project handover documentation.
Strong knowledge of Singapore construction practices.
Familiarity with BCA, SCDF, PUB, SP Group, NEA, LTA, and other statutory authority requirements.
