Job summary

Newcon Builders Pte Ltd invites applications for an M&E Coordinator to oversee mechanical/electrical coordination on construction projects in Singapore. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred; 3+ years of M&E coordination experience, especially with HDB projects, is valued.

You will review design drawings for compliance, supervise sub‑contractors, coordinate with clients and consultants, and ensure works align with schedule and budget while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Min 3 years or more experience as M&E Coordinator in local construction firms with HDB project experience
• Good knowledge of Singapore standards & requirements
• Able to work independently with a positive attitude
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Understand main contract and sub-contract requirements for M&E works

• Manage M&E sub-contractors' work progress, drawings, materials, samples, method statements submission and approval

• Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications/drawings
• Attend site meetings and supervise safety and quality on site
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management/Project Manager

• Ensure M&E works are performing on time, within budget and in compliance with all necessary standards, code of practice and safety regulations
• Attend site meeting as and when required
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Management / Project Manager

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering and / or Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination will be an advantage
• Min 3 years or more experience as M&E Coordinator in local construction firm with HDB project experience
• Good knowledge in Singapore standards & requirements
• Able to work independently with positive attitude
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
