Job summary

Annexion Partners Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E BIM Coordinator to lead the coordination of mechanical and electrical BIM models across multiple projects. You will develop and maintain 3D BIM models in Revit MEP, perform clash detection with Navisworks, and collaborate with M&E engineers, architects and contractors to ensure accurate design integration.

The role requires strong communication, BEP knowledge, and familiarity with ACC or BIM 360.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant M&E BIM modelling and coordination experience.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks with strong clash detection and coordination skills.
• Solid knowledge of M&E services including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing and fire protection.
• Experience coordinating M&E with Architectural and Structural disciplines on diverse projects.
• Familiarity with BEP, BIM standards and Singapore submission requirements.
• Experience with ACC, BIM 360 or similar collaboration platforms is advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

We are partnering with an international digital construction and engineering consultancy specialising in Building Information Modelling (BIM), Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), and innovative digital project delivery solutions in their search for an M&E BIM Coordinator. With a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, residential, infrastructure, healthcare and industrial developments, the company leverages advanced technologies to enhance M&E design coordination, optimise construction efficiency and ensure seamless integration across multidisciplinary building systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) BIM models, covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and other building services systems across various construction projects.
• Develop, review and maintain accurate 3D M&E BIM models using Autodesk Revit, ensuring compliance with project specifications, BIM standards and technical requirements.
• Conduct clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination using Navisworks to identify and resolve conflicts between M&E, Architectural and Structural systems.
• Collaborate closely with M&E engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and BIM Modellers to ensure effective design coordination and technical accuracy.
• Prepare and review M&E shop drawings, coordinated services layouts, sections, schematics and construction documentation extracted from BIM models.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings, prepare clash detection reports and monitor the timely resolution of technical and design-related issues.
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), modelling standards, quality requirements and submission schedules.
• Review M&E service routing, equipment placement, spatial requirements and maintenance accessibility to ensure constructability and coordination with other building disciplines.
• Coordinate BIM model updates throughout the design and construction phases, incorporating design revisions, site changes and as-built information.
• Provide technical guidance to BIM Modellers and support the implementation of BIM best practices, digital workflows and model-based coordination processes.

Key qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in M&E BIM modelling and coordination within the construction, engineering or consultancy sector.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks, with strong knowledge of M&E modelling, clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Good understanding of M&E building services, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, sanitary systems and fire protection.
• Experience coordinating M&E services with Architectural and Structural disciplines on commercial, residential, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), BIM standards and Singapore's BIM submission requirements.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360 or similar BIM collaboration platforms would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of M&E shop drawing preparation, construction coordination and site installation requirements.
• Strong communication, technical problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project deliverables and work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
