Job summary

Selby Jennings in Singapore seeks an investment banking professional to support the origination and execution of M&A transactions across sectors. You will engage with corporates, financial sponsors, and institutional clients, and work closely with senior bankers through pitch preparation, modelling, valuation, due diligence, and deal execution.

You will develop financial models, prepare information memorandums, and coordinate data rooms while conducting industry and company research.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or related field from a reputable university.
• Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or advisory preferred.
• Associate Director candidates require ~3–4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical abilities.
• Solid understanding of accounting and corporate finance concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in a fast-paced deal-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Support origination and execution of M&A transactions.
• Develop financial models, valuations, and transaction materials.
• Prepare pitch books, information memorandums, presentations, and marketing materials.
• Conduct industry, market, macroeconomic, and company research.
• Coordinate due diligence, manage data rooms, and liaise with clients.
• Assist transaction execution and other operational needs of the IB team.
