Job summary

Rothschild & Co in Singapore seeks an investment banking professional to support M&A and financing advisory teams. You will conduct industry research, build models, prepare materials, and help coordinate complex deals across offices.

The role requires 4–5 years in investment banking or corporate finance, strong numerical skills, and fluency in English, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work under tight deadlines. You will lead junior bankers and interact with clients.

Qualifications

• At least 4–5 years of working experience in investment banking, corporate finance or related fields.
• Well-versed in M&A processes, including experience on buy- and sell-side transactions.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills; experience in financial modelling is essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and persuade and influence others.
• Fluency in English; fluency in another Southeast Asian language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research into relevant industries to support the wider team’s marketing initiatives, optimising various sources of information; update industry databases and credentials
• Support in the preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials for client meetings
• Develop, maintain and review financial models and conduct valuation analysis
• Use a range of valuation techniques to support client advice including discounted cash flows, trading comps analysis, transaction comps analysis, and LBO-based valuations
• Prepare marketing materials for M&A processes (i.e. information memorandums and management presentations)
• Co-lead on deals, playing a central role in the overall deal coordination and execution process, working with internal and external parties
• Work cohesively with colleagues from different offices and time zones to deliver client-centered solutions
• Lead and mentor junior bankers

Education

Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/economics or related field
