Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore invites applications for the role of Executive Engineer / Engineer, Mechanical Services (Rail). The role provides design and engineering support for railway, road tunnel and bus infrastructures, focusing on air-conditioning, ventilation, fire protection, plumbing, water services, tunnel ventilation, lifts and escalators.

• Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering.
• Senior Engineer: at least 5 years of design and supervision of mechanical systems/services.
• Executive Engineer: at least 2 years of design and supervision of mechanical systems/services.
• Candidates without working experience are welcome to apply.
• Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities
Engineers are required to provide design and engineering supports to stakeholders on railway, road tunnel and bus infrastructures, carry out technical studies and investigations, technological researches, etc., and the following responsibilities:

• Upkeeping engineering standards, design criteria, performance specifications and technical requirements for air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, fire protection systems, plumbing, sanitary and water services, tunnel ventilation system, lifts and escalators, etc.
• Preparation and evaluation of tenders, review of design submissions by consultants and contractors, site supervision, testing and commissioning, etc.

[What we are looking for]

• Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering
• Senior Engineer: At least 5 years of experience in the design and supervision of mechanical systems/services stated in the above job description.
• Executive Engineer: At least 2 years of experience in the design and supervision of mechanical system/service stated in the above job description.
