Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) technician to assist in management, maintenance planning and rectification of commuter facilities M&E equipment in pedestrian underpasses, overhead bridges and vehicle underpasses.

You will assist in tender specification preparation, supervise site activities, and ensure safety compliance. The role includes investigating lifts and escalator accidents and handling feedback from the public and agencies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Mechanical engineering
• Knowledge and experience in M&E equipment such as lifts, escalators, pumps, ACMV, fire protection system.
• Relevant experience in handling customer feedback will be an added advantage
• Good writing, communication and interpersonal skill

Responsibilities

• Assist in management, maintenance planning and rectification of commuter facilities M&E equipment in pedestrian underpasses, overhead bridges and vehicle underpasses.
• Prepare tender specifications and supervise site activities, ensuring safety and quality on M&E works.

[What the role is]

You will assist in management, maintenance planning and rectification of commuter facilities Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) equipment in pedestrian underpasses, pedestrian overhead bridges and vehicle underpasses.

[What you will be working on]

You will also assist in preparation of tender specifications, managing and supervising commuter facilities M&E equipment enforcing safety requirements base on code and requirement – site activities, as well as carrying out quality/quality audit checks on works on site. Investigation of any lifts and escalators accidents. This will also include the management of feedback from the public, other government agencies and private developers.
