Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) is seeking a Deputy/Assistant Manager, Bus Information Systems to oversee the operation and management of bus information systems and depots, conduct audits, and manage the Fleet Management System. You will coordinate with PTOs and vendors, facilitate meetings, and support Public Transport directorate initiatives or events, while performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields, with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Up-to-date knowledge on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Intelligence (MI) tools. Knowledge in Python/SQL programming would be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. A service-oriented team player with pleasant personality and can work well with internal and external stakeholders.
• Meticulous and organised, with an eye for details, and open minded to develop new skillset and adopt new technologies.
• As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.

Responsibilities

• You will be part of the team overseeing the operation and management of information systems on buses and in bus depots.
• This includes conducting audits, management of the Fleet Management System, facilitating meetings, and provide support in overseeing of system operation and maintenance by PTOs and by appointed vendors.
• Besides engaging PTOs and system vendors, you will be involved in supporting Public Transport directorate or LTA initiative or event and performing other tasks as assigned.
