Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) Singapore is seeking a Manager/Deputy Manager, Land to lead end-to-end planning, coordination and management of land acquisition for transport infrastructure projects.

You will work with government agencies and statutory boards, apply GIS to analyse spatial data, maintain land and geospatial databases, and mentor junior team members while ensuring budgeting, cost controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Real Estate, Land Management, Urban Planning, Geography, Geomatics, or related discipline.
• At least 6 years of relevant land management or infrastructure planning experience.
• Prior experience in infrastructure projects preferred.
• Ability to interpret spatial data and translate findings into proposals.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Autonomy with alignment to senior leadership direction.
• Willingness to undergo medical declaration/assessments.

[What the role is] MANAGER / DEPUTY MANAGER, LAND [What you will be working on] Lead and oversee the end-to-end planning, coordination, and management of land acquisition and securing of land for transport infrastructure projects. Provide advice and recommendations on land-related matters, including budgeting, cost management, and compliance with regulatory policies and development guidelines, escalating issues and proposing solutions as needed. Work with government agencies, statutory boards, and key stakeholders to resolve land-related matters, negotiate outcomes, and advance project objectives. Utilize Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) to manage, analyse, and visualize spatial data related to land and infrastructure assets. Maintain and update land and geospatial databases, maps, and related documentations. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical direction and fostering professional development within the team. [What we are looking for] Knowledge in Real Estate, Land Management, Urban Planning, Geography, Geomatics, or a related discipline. At least 6 years of relevant experience in land management, land acquisition, or infrastructure planning, with a demonstrated track record of managing projects and leading cross-functional workstreams. Prior experience in infrastructure projects is strongly preferred. Competency in interpreting spatial data and translating findings into proposals. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential, as the role requires the ability to work with multiple agencies and project teams. A self-starter who can operate with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining alignment with organisational goals and senior leadership's direction.
