LTA Land Transport Authority in Singapore is seeking an Engineer to support street design and infrastructure technology. The role focuses on planning and designing commuter and road infrastructure projects to improve travel for pedestrians, cyclists, motorists and transit users.

You will conduct feasibility studies, conceptualize user-centric road schemes, prepare tender specs, and provide technical support during project implementation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Civil/Structural Engineering concepts and design
• Experience in civil/transport infrastructure projects is preferred
• Fresh graduates with keen interest are welcome to apply
• Strong teamwork and good communication skills

You will have the opportunity to conduct feasibility studies and utilise design thinking to conceptualise and design user-centric road schemes. You will also prepare tender specifications and provide technical support in the project implementation stage. There will also be opportunities for you to explore new and emerging technologies suitable for infrastructure development, as well as develop and review engineering standards and design guidelines.In addition, to achieve our vision of a car-lite nation, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with agencies and stakeholders to redefine our users' travel experience through the development of Transit Priority Corridors, road re-purposing projects, covered linkways and bus stop upgrading works that enhance first- and last-mile connectivity and walkability. You will be part of the team participating in road and streetscape design aimed at creating pedestrian-friendly streets.[What we are looking for]Knowledge in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalentRelevant working experience in Civil Engineering design and/or transport infrastructure projects preferred.
