Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore seeks an experienced Civil & Structural Engineer for road design and infrastructure analytics. You will join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team involved in planning, designing, and delivering road and commuter projects aimed at improving travel for all users.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in civil engineering projects.
• Experience in planning, design, coordination and management of transport infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Experience in coordination of utilities laying and diversion will be advantageous.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team on planning and design of road and commuter infrastructure projects.

What the role is:

[LTA-IDE] ENGINEER, ROAD DESIGN & INFRA ANALYTICS

What you will be working on:

You will be an integral part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to the planning and design of road and commuter infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing the travel experience for all users, including commuters, motorists, cyclists, and active mobility users. Your work will contribute to our vision of a car-lite nation and support the national economy by redefining users' travel experiences through innovative design development and implementation of road infrastructure projects, including transit priority corridors.

You will engage with various government agencies while conducting feasibility studies, allowing you to exercise your creativity and design thinking skills in conceptualizing and designing user-centric road and commuter infrastructure solutions.

What we are looking for:

• • Knowledge in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent
• • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in civil engineering projects
• • Experience in planning, design, coordination and management of transport infrastructure projects is preferred
• • Experience in coordination of utilities laying and diversion will be advantageous

• • Candidates with strong relevant years of experience in road infrastructure projects will be considered for senior positions
