Job summary

QVL PTE LTD offers a 3-month internship for logistics students to gain hands-on experience in international freight forwarding and logistics operations, working directly with customers, vendors, and global partners.

Interns will support air and ocean freight bookings, communicate with customers, and assist in preparing quotations and documentation while learning the end-to-end workflow from booking to delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven basic knowledge in logistics and forwarding
• Mandarin, German, Spanish or other language skills are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Apply basic knowledge of logistics to support day-to-day freight forwarding operations
• Make and follow up on air freight bookings with airlines to ensure timely shipment processing
• Support ocean freight bookings with shipping lines to facilitate cargo movement
• Communicate clearly with customers to understand and address their logistics requirements
• Arrange pick-ups and deliveries by coordinating with transport vendors to meet schedules
• Collaborate with international agents and logistics partners to support shipment coordination
• Assist in preparing quotations, following up on shipments, and managing operational documentation
• Understand and contribute to the complete workflow from booking through transport, documentation, and delivery
• Demonstrate professional communication skills with customers, suppliers, and overseas partners
• Adapt to changing priorities and work independently as well as part of a small team
