Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, transport operations, supply chain or freight-related services.
• Experience coordinating transport vendors, subcontractors or third-party logistics providers.
• Strong coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for dealing with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in developing or setting up new logistics operations will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement practical logistics and transport solutions according to customer requirements.
• Plan and coordinate local freight movement, transportation, collection and delivery operations.
• Manage transport vendors, subcontractors, drivers and other logistics service partners.
• Develop operational workflows, SOPs and service-level standards for logistics activities.
• Plan routes, manpower and transport resources to improve efficiency and control operating costs.
• Prepare logistics quotations, cost calculations, operational proposals and customer solutions.
• Coordinate the onboarding and implementation of new logistics contracts and customer accounts.
• Monitor delivery performance, turnaround times, service quality and operational KPIs.
• Handle delivery exceptions, delays, customer issues and operational escalations.
• Maintain logistics records, reports and performance documentation.
• Review vendor performance and identify opportunities for cost and service improvement.
• Work with management on customer meetings, commercial proposals and business development.
• Develop relationships with potential logistics customers, transport providers and business partners.
• Support the progressive expansion of the company's logistics operations and service network.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with applicable company procedures, customer requirements and Singapore regulations.

We are expanding its logistics and transport services business and is looking for an experienced Logistics Solutions Manager to develop, implement and manage logistics solutions for customers.

The role will be responsible for establishing efficient logistics operations, coordinating transport vendors and service partners, managing customer requirements, controlling costs and service performance, and supporting the development of new logistics business.

Requirements

• Degree, postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, transport operations, supply chain or freight-related services.
• Practical experience coordinating transport vendors, subcontractors or third-party logistics providers.
• Good knowledge of logistics operations, costing, route planning, service levels and performance management.
• Ability to prepare quotations, operational plans, reports and customer proposals.
• Strong coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple operational assignments and resolve logistics issues independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for dealing with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in developing or setting up new logistics operations will be an advantage.

Preferred / Additional Experience

• Experience in last-mile delivery, local transportation, freight coordination or outsourced transport operations.
• Experience managing customer SLAs and operational KPIs.
• Experience in logistics cost optimisation and vendor management.
• Exposure to business development or customer solution design within the logistics industry.
