Job summary

Schneider Electric Asia Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Logistics Engineer to design and optimize warehousing and distribution, measure performance, implement corrective actions, and manage projects that design and optimize warehousing processes.

You will analyze data, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement across supply chain networks while ensuring compliance with ISO requirements. Fluent English and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Transport or related discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years’ practical experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and terminology (FIFO, MIGO, etc.).
• Working knowledge on inventory management and transportation.
• SAP & WM is a must. MS Office. Analytics skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and presentation skills.
• Digital savvy and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing supply chain networks to optimize resource use and reduce costs.
• Developing logistic plans and strategies to improve efficiency of operations.
• Analyzing data to understand and improve logistic processes.
• Evaluating vendor operations according to quality standards and delivery capacity.
• Coordinating and planning warehouse, distribution and transportation operations.
• Developing risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergencies.
• Collaborating with other departments to integrate logistics with business processes.
• Developing procedures for logistics management to optimize product workflow and cost.
• Using software systems for scheduling and tracking shipments and ensuring ISO compliance.
