Job summary

DROPLO PTE. LTD. is seeking a Logistics Operations Lead to oversee day-to-day activities across transportation, warehousing, and distribution in Singapore.

You will organize daily delivery schedules, lead drivers, and coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely movement of goods. The role requires strong organisational and problem-solving skills, experience in logistics, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, or a related discipline.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or distribution operations.
• Understanding of delivery planning, fleet coordination, and logistics processes.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to lead and coordinate drivers and operational personnel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with customers, suppliers, and service providers.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with logistics, inventory, or ERP systems.
• Able to work independently while contributing as part of a team.
• Holding a valid Singapore driving licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation, deliveries, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Organise and manage daily delivery schedules to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods.
• Lead and coordinate drivers, logistics staff, and delivery teams to maintain operational efficiency.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, transporters, and external logistics partners to support operational requirements.
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure goods are delivered accurately and within the required timeframe.
• Review transportation and logistics expenses and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
• Maintain proper records and documentation for deliveries, shipments, inventory movements, and logistics transactions.
• Coordinate vehicle utilisation, servicing, maintenance, and scheduling to support daily operations.
• Investigate and resolve delivery delays, shipment discrepancies, damaged or missing goods, and other logistics-related issues.
• Review existing workflows and implement improvements to enhance productivity, control costs, and maintain high service standards.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and distribution operations.
