Job summary

NSL OILCHEM WASTE MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Fleet Maintenance Technician to manage repairs, servicing, and compliance for heavy vehicles and equipment.

You will coordinate servicing, troubleshoot breakdowns, liaise with vendors, and maintain accurate servicing records. You should have a diploma/degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering with at least 2 years of heavy vehicle maintenance experience, good problem-solving and teamwork, and be willing to perform

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years of heavy vehicle maintenance experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills for heavy vehicles, trailers and equipment.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
• Class 3/4 driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle road tax, VPC, SCDF licence renewals and equipment inspections.
• Plan and coordinate fleet servicing, preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot vehicle and equipment breakdowns.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors for repairs and spare parts.
• Monitor maintenance costs, approvals and repair schedules.
• Maintain accurate vehicle servicing and repair records.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, SOPs and Risk Assessments.
• Conduct driver training on equipment operation and road safety.
• Handle vehicle accident reporting and insurance claims.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve fleet efficiency.
