Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is hiring a Logistics Officer/Executive (Freight Forwarding/Logistics Industry) to coordinate daily shipments, imports/exports, and cross-border transportation from an Alps Ave location in Singapore. The role covers warehouse oversight, truck arrangements, POD submission, and cost control.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, prepare shipping documents, liaise with customers and internal teams, and monitor KPIs to drive delivery performance and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Logistics/SCM required.
• General knowledge in Air Freight Operation; permit declaration a plus.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily freight shipments, import/export activities, cross-border transportation and local deliveries.
• Oversee warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, stock checks, inventory updates in WMS.
• Arrange trucks, drivers and equipment; monitor delivery progress and POD submission.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents; coordinate customs declarations and regulatory permits.
• Liaise with customers, agents, transporters and internal teams for updates and issue resolution.
• Verify logistics charges and supplier invoices; prepare shipment costing and quotations.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, warehouse safety, cargo security and customs/dangerous goods rules.
• Prepare operational reports; monitor KPIs and propose improvements.

Logistics Officer/ Executive (Freight Forwarding/ Logistics Industry)

• Salary Package: $2,800 - $3,300 Basic + VB + AWS
• Company Industry: Freight Forwarding Industry
• Working Location: Alps Ave (Changi)
• Working hours: 5 days work week (Monday- Friday,9am- 6pm)

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily freight shipments, import/export activities, cross-border transportation and local deliveries, ensuring timely collection and delivery.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, stock checks and inventory updates in WMS.
• Arrange trucks, drivers, manpower and equipment, monitor delivery progress and ensure timely submission of Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, coordinate customs declarations and follow up on permits and regulatory documentation.
• Liaise with customers, agents, transporters and internal teams to provide shipment updates and resolve operational issues.
• Verify logistics charges and supplier invoices, prepare shipment costing and support quotations and customer billing.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, warehouse safety, cargo security and applicable customs and dangerous goods requirements.
• Prepare operational reports, monitor KPIs and recommend improvements to delivery performance, inventory accuracy and logistics operations.

Requirement
