A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a logistics manager to develop and implement strategies for supply chain optimization. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and strong skills in regulatory and logistics management. Candidates must be advanced users of MS Office and have a good understanding of SAP. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, transportation, and distribution in Singapore.
Establish standard operating procedures in export and import activities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards especially for Singapore export and import.
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, factories and customers to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation of goods in timely manner.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Supervise and mentor logistics staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and ensuring that the team is well-trained and equipped to handle the logistics operations.
