Job summary

MIRAGE FURNITURE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Logistics Officer to manage end-to-end logistics for furniture and materials across local and overseas shipments.

You will handle customs clearance, documentation, freight coordination and site deliveries to meet project timelines. Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in logistics, preferably in furniture, interior fit-out, renovation or construction.
• Experience in customs clearance, import/export documentation and freight coordination.
• Familiarity with shipping documents, customs procedures and local delivery requirements.
• Good organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, transporters and project teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general logistics documentation.
• Able to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and resolve logistics issues promptly.
• Willing to travel to warehouses and project sites when required.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking suppliers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate local and overseas shipments of furniture, materials, fittings and equipment.
• Handle import and export arrangements, including customs clearance and related procedures.
• Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation, including invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, permits and other relevant documents.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs agents, suppliers and transport companies on shipment arrangements and clearance matters.
• Track shipment status and follow up on delays, customs issues, documentation discrepancies and other logistical matters.
• Coordinate transportation, delivery schedules and unloading arrangements for furniture and materials.
• Arrange site deliveries according to project and installation schedules, including loading bay, lift access and site-entry requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, installers, warehouse personnel and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery and installation.
