Job summary

Drew Marine is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support shipments across its warehouse network, including international ones. The role involves ensuring on-time delivery to satellite warehouses and coordinating with suppliers, drivers, and planners in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years in logistics or supply chain, familiarity with ADR rules, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Familiarity with ADR transportation regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior supply chain or export experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor full and empty gas cylinder movements between customers, warehouse and refillers.
• Inspect returned cylinders/products for discrepancies and report to the network coordinator.
• Maintain gas cylinder inventory and stock movement records.
• Raise purchase orders when replenishment is required and reconcile reports.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel, refillers, suppliers, drivers and planners for smooth operations.
• Handle shortages, wrong/short deliveries and other discrepancies and follow up until closure.
• Handle import/export discrepancies and report to the relevant planner.
• Assist with ad-hoc logistics activities.

Job description

The Logistics Coordinator will, under minimal supervision, be responsible for supporting and managing shipments withing Drew Marines warehouse network, including international shipments. The Logistics Coordinator position can operate in a very international environment, both in the region and with colleagues in other locations. The position is ultimately responsible for the on-time delivery of products to Drew Marine’s satellite warehouses.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor full and empty gas cylinder movements between customers, warehouse and refillers.
• Inspect returned cylinders/products for discrepancies and report to the relevant network coordinator and follow up until closure.
• Maintain gas cylinder/local purchase products inventory in the warehouse.
• Maintain stock movement records and reconcile reports.
• Monitor stock level for empty cylinders and related products and raise purchase orders when replenishment is required.
• Process and maintain documentation and test reports.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel, refillers, suppliers, drivers, planners and network coordinators to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle product shortages complaint, wrong/short deliveries, damaged products and other discrepancies and report to the relevant network coordinator and follow up until closure.
• Handle import & export discrepancies and report to the relevant planner and follow up until closure.
• Handle procurement of warehouse materials and services.
• Assist with ad-hoc logistics activities.

Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations
• Familiarity with ADR transportation regulations
• Proficient with all Office software products (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Must have excellent communications skills
• Must have strong listening skills
• Must have strong problem-solving skills
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, time-controlled environment; ability to multi-task
• Prior supply chain experience a plus
• Prior export experience a plus (basic documentation preparation and handling)

Physical Working Environment:

The position works in a climate-controlled office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
