Job summary

OAKTREE CONSULTING in Singapore is seeking a warehouse operative to execute receiving, inspection, labeling, put away, picking, packing and dispatch in line with standard operating procedures. You will manage stock to prevent damage and discrepancies, perform cycle counts, and assist during peak periods.

The role requires basic equipment operation, adherence to safety protocols, and a tidy, well-organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control and warehousing processes.
• Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment and follow SOPs.
• Vigilance towards safety and accuracy in handling stock.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, inspection, labeling, put away, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods in accordance with SOPs.
• Ensure correct handling of inventory to prevent damage, loss, or discrepancies.
• Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory checks as required.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet jacks, hand trucks; forklifts if licensed).
• Follow all workplace safety, health, and security procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned warehouse areas.
• Participate in proper shift handovers to ensure operational continuity.
• Support peak operations, overtime requirements, and urgent tasks when required.
• Assist with ad-hoc warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
