Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking, packing and inventory management.
• Ability to work efficiently and safely whilst handling heavy items and operating material handling equipment.
• Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to collaborate with colleagues across departments.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk and lift regularly throughout the working day.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing workload demands and warehouse requirements.
• A commitment to maintaining safety standards and following standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, inspecting and recording incoming goods and materials into the warehouse management system
• Organizing and storing products in designated locations to maximize warehouse space and accessibility
• Picking and packing orders accurately according to customer specifications and shipping requirements
• Preparing shipments for distribution by labelling, scanning and loading goods onto delivery vehicles
• Conducting regular stock counts and assisting with inventory management and reconciliation
• Maintaining accurate records of warehouse transactions and product movements
• Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks and other material handling devices safely and efficiently
• Supporting the maintenance of a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assisting with ad hoc logistics and warehousing tasks as required to support team objectives
