Job summary

foodpanda is seeking a Senior Data Analyst (Logistics Analytics) to deliver actionable insights across 16 markets and mentor junior analysts within a high-visibility analytics function. You will own logistics analytics from problem framing to solution delivery, applying advanced methods, optimizing operations, and communicating clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–8 years of analytics or data science experience.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency with large-scale datasets.
• Experience with modern data platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
• Experience in advanced analytics methods and causal inference.

Responsibilities

• Own logistics problem domain end-to-end and deliver analytical solutions that improve cost, efficiency, and service performance.
• Partner with business and domain leads to shape problem statements and data-driven solutions.
• Apply simulation, optimization, and statistical modeling to real-world logistics problems.
• Design and analyze experiments and apply causal inference methods to inform decisions.
• Build scalable data products and analytics tools using modern data stacks.
• Drive analyses to identify performance drivers and opportunities across the logistics value chain.
• Collaborate with data and engineering teams on data modeling and metric definitions.
• Communicate analyses clearly to influence senior stakeholders.
