Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support Secured Loans operations in a banking environment. You will handle record creation, disbursement processes, and servicing activities to ensure timely and accurate loan handling.

The role requires 1-2 years in financial institutions with knowledge of credit operations, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel. Meticulous with risks and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in banking, management, accounting or related discipline.
• 1-2 years' experience in financial institutions, with credit operations knowledge a plus.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail.
• Good understanding of operational risks.
• Good communication & problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform record creation and system updating in Bank's operating systems relating to Secured Loans.
• Process documentation check, loan disbursement, servicing activities, redemption, fees & collections for Secured Loans.
• Prepare instructions, payments, advices & notification letters to customers/law firms.
• Perform imaging, indexing and filing of collateral documents.
• Perform reconciliation of General Ledger accounts, transactions & documents.
• Review and update system reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Handle filing of source reports and media and arrange archival.
• Handle customer or lawyer inquiries.
• Ensure all requests are processed within service standards, timely and accurate.
• Assist Team Manager and escalate discrepancies as needed.
• Contribute ideas to improve workflow and mitigate operational risks.

Job scopes

• Perform record creation and system updating in Bank's operating systems relating to Secured Loans.


• Process documentation check, loan disbursement, loan servicing activities, loan redemption, fee payments & collection relating to Secured Loans.


• Prepare instructions, payment, advices & notification letters to customers/law firm


• Perform imaging, indexing and filing of collateral documents


• Perform reconciliation of General ledger accounts, transactions & documents


• Review & update system reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis.


• Handle filing of source reports & media and arranging for archival.


• Handle customer / lawyer's enquiries


• Ensure all requests are processed within specified Service standard, timely and accurately


• Manage ad-hoc project assigned by Team Manager


• Escalate any discrepancy / deviation to the Team Manager


• Assist Team Manager by providing ideas/initiatives in improving the existing workflow and identify operational risks and implement measures to address / mitigate the risk

Job requirements

• Diploma or Degree in banking, management, accounting, and any related discipline
