Job summary

SINGAPORE LNG CORPORATION PTE. LTD. seeks an Operations Technician to join the Production team at the LNG terminal.

You will perform field inspections, operate DCS, manage jetty loading, and support maintenance and safety procedures to ensure safe and efficient LNG handling. The role requires hands-on experience in oil, petrochemical, or cryogenic processes, strong teamwork, and the ability to adapt to rotating shifts, including emergency response responsibilities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in oil, petrochemical and refinery plant, utilities or cryogenic processes.
• Experience with plant instrumentation and control systems (DCS) is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety systems and permit-to-work procedures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine field inspections to ensure safe operating limits.
• Perform unloading of chemicals/utilities into receiving tanks.
• Operate jetty loading arms and fulfill Loading Master responsibilities.
• Use DCS to monitor and control terminal processes within design parameters.
• Maintain unit logs and ensure smooth shift handovers and follow-up actions.
• Support maintenance activities and generate work orders as needed.
• Conduct safety checks, gas tests, and ensure compliance with lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Supervise contractors under approved permit-to-work system.
• Participate in Emergency Response Team duties as assigned.
