Job summary

Graviton Research Capital in Singapore is seeking a Central Execution Trader to join our team. This role acts as the communication hub for brokers and exchanges on behalf of the firm and collaborates with technology, research, risk, compliance and business development.

You will build real-time monitoring tools, automate critical workflows, and refine systems that keep live trading running with minimal latency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mathematics, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 2+ years in trade operations, trade support, data engineering, or trading development.
• Strong programming skills in Python for automation and data analytics.
• Solid understanding of financial markets and electronic/algorithmic trading.
• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in live trading environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first line of defense for alerts, rejects, and outages; primary point of contact for brokers and exchanges on live issues.
• Build and enhance real-time trade monitoring systems for live and post-trade environments.
• Automate critical processes like position reconciliation and locate borrowing.
• Conduct advanced trading algorithm analyses to optimize execution strategies.
• Leverage expertise in systematic trading systems to enhance financial data management and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with traders, exchanges/PBs, developers and risk managers to enhance workflows and reduce processing times.
• Support trade operations by monitoring and resolving trade discrepancies and settlements.
• Communicate incidents, resolutions, and process improvements with clarity.
