Job summary

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a Data Production Engineer to join our Data team. You will build tools, automate data workflows, and support one of the world's largest automated trading systems.

Collaborate with research and trading teams and interact with external data providers and exchanges. You'll analyze live data, ensure data quality, and maintain robust data pipelines in a fast-paced daily trading environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data engineering or data science role
• Proficient in Python
• Experience managing ETL pipelines
• Familiar with financial datasets (Refinitiv, S&P, Bloomberg)
• Comfortable with Linux command line
• Able to provide production support in a data pipeline environment

Responsibilities

• Onboard, classify, and reconcile datasets; automate data tasks using a modern Python data stack
• Parse, analyze, and validate data; perform data quality checks
• Identify and develop processes to enrich data for quantitative research teams
• Provide proactive production support for the data pipeline and resolve issues quickly
