Job summary

Tyson Jay Management Pte Ltd is seeking a junior lawyer to assist with litigation across personal injury, property damage, civil, criminal and family matters. You will draft pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and court filings, and conduct legal research to prepare case summaries and memoranda.

You will attend court hearings, mediations, case conferences, and other proceedings under supervision, helping with trial preparation and witness coordination.

Qualifications

• Qualified to practise law in Singapore with 0–3 years pqe.
• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and advocacy skills with a client-focused mindset.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and conduct of litigation matters across personal injury, property damage, civil, criminal, and family law matters
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, affidavits, submissions, legal opinions, correspondence, and court filings
• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, memoranda, and advisory materials
• Attend court hearings, mediations, case conferences, and other legal proceedings
• Assist in trial preparation, including evidence review, bundle preparation, and witness coordination
• Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, insurers, government agencies, experts, and other stakeholders
• Support settlement discussions and dispute resolution processes under appropriate supervision
• Monitor court timelines, filing requirements, and ensure matters progress in accordance with procedural deadlines
