Job summary

Trinity HR Solutions Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to manage production Linux systems, perform patching and upgrades, and ensure robust security and reliability.

You will work with virtualization, high availability, and backup strategies, alongside support for enterprise middleware and databases. The role requires hands-on Linux administration, networking, and storage expertise, with advantageous exposure to Unix variants, IBM ISAM, and cloud-native tooling such as

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or equivalent with relevant certifications.
• Hands-on Linux system administration with 2+ years preferred.
• Experience with OS patching, security, virtualization, HA/clustering.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking, hardware, and storage.
• Unix experience (Solaris/AIX) advantageous.
• Familiarity with Apache, WebSphere/JBOSS/Tomcat/IIS, MQ.
• Knowledge of IBM ISAM security software advantageous.
• Familiarity with JDBC databases (Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL).
• Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps knowledge advantageous.

Job description

• Diploma/degree in IT or equivalent experience with Linux/MCSE/Unix certification(s).
• Must have knowledge and working experience of Linux, preferably 2+ years of hands-on experience in system administration for production systems.
• Experience in OS patching and upgrade, system security, OS virtualization, HA/clustering, replication, and backup and recovery techniques.
• Working experience in networking (TCP/IP), physical hardware, and/or storage systems.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of Unix (Solaris or AIX or other Unix) will be advantageous.
• Knowledge and working experience of Apache HTTP web server, middleware WebSphere/JBOSS/Tomcat/IIS, MQ, etc. will be advantageous.
• Knowledge and experiences in integrated security access management software such as IBM ISAM will be advantageous.
• Knowledge and experience of JDBC and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL) will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps will be advantageous.
