Job summary

Tyson Jay Management Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Linux Systems Administrator to ensure reliability and lifecycle management of enterprise Linux infrastructure. You will handle day-to-day operations, monitoring, automation, patching and incident support within a managed services environment.

Responsibilities include configuring Linux servers, monitoring health, applying patches, and collaborating with network, storage and security teams.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant Linux system administration experience.
• Strong experience with Linux-based OS, preferably RHEL, including troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
• Experience with scripting and configuration-management tools (Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet or Chef).
• ITIL Foundation and RHCSA or equivalent certifications; good Troubleshooting and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Use scripting and automation tools to improve operational efficiency, maintenance and routine system administration.
• Maintain technical documentation and runbooks, and participate in an after-hours support rotation for critical incidents.

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux-based operating systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux, including troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
• Exposure to scripting and configuration-management tools such as Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• ITIL Foundation and RHCSA, or equivalent certifications, with good troubleshooting, communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Information

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, excluding Public Holidays.
• The role includes participation in an after-hours support rotation for critical incidents.
