Job summary
Capgemini Singapore is seeking an experienced Linux Administrator to lead migration of OpenShift clusters from VMware to baremetal infrastructure. You will design scalable cluster architectures, develop automation, and ensure secure, high-availability Linux environments aligned with Oracle deployments.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS preferred).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
- 3+ years of experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform or similar).
- Strong knowledge of baremetal server provisioning and cluster engineering.
- Experience with networking concepts TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, firewalls.
- Familiarity with Oracle databases in Linux environments; Oracle integration recommended.
- RHCE or equivalent certification is advantageous.
- Experience with VMware virtualization and migration strategies; Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute migration of OCP clusters from VMware to baremetal infrastructure.
- Design and implement scalable, secure baremetal cluster architecture.
- Develop automation scripts for deployment and configuration management.
- Install, configure and maintain Unix/Linux servers (RHEL).
- Collaborate with DBAs to support Oracle deployments and migrations.
- Create technical documentation for migration processes and DR practices.
- Establish best practices for cluster management and disaster recovery.
