Job summary

DYSON OPERATIONS PTE. LTD. at Singapore Advanced Manufacturing (Pioneer Crescent) seeks a Line Shift Leader to coordinate daily production line activities and ensure timely build schedules. You will monitor operators, enforce safety and SOPs, and support manpower deployment.

You will also maintain production records, manage line inventory, and escalate issues to supervisors while guiding senior operators in planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in production line operations within manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SOPs, work instructions, and line certification requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience using SAP, MES or Excel for data recording and reporting.
• Strong safety awareness and PPE usage.
• Effective communicator who can guide operators.

About the role:

As a Line Shift Leader based at Singapore - Advanced Manufacturing (Pioneer Crescent), you will coordinate daily production line activities and support the timely execution of build schedules. You will monitor operators during production, ensure adherence to safety and operating procedures, support manpower deployment, maintain production records, and escalat line issues to the Production Supervisor where required.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate production build schedules for timely execution.
• Monitor operators during production activities to ensure adherence to ethics, safety and operating procedures.
• Motivate operators to enhance production quantity while maintaining high production standards.
• Maintain records of operator performance, prepare work schedules and monitor attendance.
• Ensure work materials are available as required and maintain line inventory records.
• Escalate line issues to Production Supervisors and coordinate with Process and Equipment Technicians to support line operations.
• Ensure good housekeeping in assigned work areas in line with established 5S standards.
• Execute manpower deployment and help maintain discipline, absenteeism and turnover control on the production shop floor.
• Prepare line production reports and support inventory tracking.
• Guide Senior Operators in production planning and effective execution of build schedules.

About you:

• Minimum GCE N or O Level, or Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) equivalent in Malaysia, with relevant experience in production line operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of production process flow, SOPs, work instructions and line certification requirements.
• Able to perform assigned production line tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of inventory tracking, production data recording and basic reporting tools such as SAP, MES or Excel.
• Good safety awareness, including hazard identification, PPE use and ability to guide operators on safe work practices.
• Able to communicate instructions clearly, escalates issues promptly and support operator performance through guidance and feedback.
• Takes ownership for production volume, 5S standards, line discipline and continuous improvement ideas.
