Job summary

OXLEY GEM PTE. LTD. seeks an attentive kitchen support member to assist in daily operations and ensure high food quality. You will follow standard recipes, manage mis en place, and help guests at the food counter as needed.

You will also taste items for quality, monitor portion control, and assist in buffet stations and sauce prep, with other duties assigned by management as required.

Qualifications

• Candidate should help prepare high-quality food following standard recipes.
• Maintain portion control and display accuracy during service.
• Assist guests at the food counter when required and ensure food is tasted prior to serving.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional direction to the kitchen’s daily operations.
• Produce high levels of food quality to satisfy guest needs.
• Ensure standard recipes are followed in preparation.
• Be ready to assist guests at the food counter when required.
• Check mis en place and portioning of all items.
• Check that food items meet quality standards.
• Taste all food items before placing on the counter.
• Ensure food counter display is correct.
• Be stationed at the food station during buffet periods if required.
• Supervise and assist in cooking and sauce preparation.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by Management.
