Job summary

SHARED TABLE PTE. LTD. is seeking a kitchen team member to assist with daily food preparation, cooking, and plating according to recipes and standards.

You will ensure consistent quality, taste, and portioning while maintaining proper mise en place and kitchen setup. Responsibilities include keeping workstations clean, monitoring ingredients, minimizing waste, and collaborating with both kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and kitchen setup.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily food preparation, cooking and plating according to recipes and established standards.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation and portioning.
• Carry out mise en place and ensure the kitchen is properly prepared before each service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, kitchen equipment and storage areas.
• Monitor ingredient levels and inform the kitchen lead when replenishment is required.
• Minimise food wastage and practise proper portion control.
• Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Support stock counts, deliveries and general kitchen operations when required.
• Perform other operational duties reasonably assigned by the Head Chef or management.
