Job summary

Tung Lok Millennium Pte Ltd is seeking a kitchen assistant to support daily operations in a fast-paced Singapore kitchen. You will help with preparation, cooking, and plating under senior chefs, while ensuring quality and timeliness of meals.

Applicants should be able to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays, and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication. Hygiene and food safety are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar kitchen role preferred.
• Able to perform split shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
• Passion for food and willingness to learn.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items as directed by senior chefs.
• Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications as set by the kitchen.
• Keep all working areas clean and tidy, ensuring strict adherence to hygiene and food safety standards.
• Receive and store kitchen stock and supplies, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO).
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.
• Support the kitchen team in daily operations and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company.
