Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Building, Construction, Interior Design, or related disciplines.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand 2D construction and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in Excel for costing, quotations, and tracking.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and preparing production drawings.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret 2D construction drawings, technical specifications, and site measurements.
• Verify that site measurements are consistent with drawings and project requirements.
• Perform material quantity take-offs and cost calculations to prepare quotations.
• Prepare and submit quotations based on drawings, specifications, and site measurements.
• Prepare internal work orders detailing project scope, material specifications, and work requirements for production and installation teams.
• Prepare, amend, and maintain 2D AutoCAD drawings for lift interior projects.
• Produce and revise technical drawings for client approval and project execution.
• Prepare production and fabrication drawings and layouts for manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers to source materials and obtain quotations.
• Monitor material availability, order status, and delivery lead times.
• Maintain accurate project records including POs and DOs.
