Job summary

Metro Builders Pte. Ltd. invites a proactive Project Engineer to coordinate lift and escalator interior refurbishment projects across Singapore. You will liaise with clients, main contractors, and suppliers, and ensure drawings and site plans align with project requirements.

The role involves site measurements, progress tracking, and documentation. Fresh graduates welcomed; training provided. On-site and office work balance in a 5.5-day work week with opportunities to grow in a busy construction

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from commencement through completion and handover.
• Liaise with clients, main contractors, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review AutoCAD/shop drawings with the drafting team.
• Attend site meetings, inspections and project coordination meetings.
• Conduct site measurements and verify site conditions.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, materials and installation schedules.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed according to schedule.
• Coordinate material procurement, fabrication and delivery to site.
• Resolve site and technical issues together with supervisors and the project team.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress updates and submissions.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and project requirements.
• Coordinate testing, inspections, rectification works and final handover.

Metro Builders Pte. Ltd. is looking for a motivated and responsible Project Engineer to coordinate and manage lift and escalator interior refurbishment projects across Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from commencement through completion and handover.

Requirements

• Able to understand technical/AutoCAD drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Organised, responsible and able to manage multiple projects.
• Comfortable working between the office and project sites.
• Previous construction/project coordination experience is an advantage but not essential.

Working Hours

5.5-day work week

• Monday – Friday: Full day
• Saturday: Half day
