Job summary

TRANSGLOBE INTERIOR PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Drafter to prepare accurate technical, shop, and as-built drawings for commercial and retail interior fit-out projects in Singapore.

You will produce 2D drawings and 3D sketches, coordinate with project teams, and ensure drawings meet specifications. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Certificate in Interior Design or related field, at least 2 years of drafting experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Interior Design, Architecture, Building Drafting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of drafting experience in interior fit-out or construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (essential).
• Knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D software is an advantage.
• Good understanding of construction details, materials, carpentry, and joinery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop detailed 2D drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Produce layout plans, elevations, sections, and construction details based on project requirements.
• Prepare detailed carpentry and joinery drawings for fabrication and installation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Designers, Quantity Surveyors, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Review architectural and design drawings to identify discrepancies and resolve technical issues.
• Revise and update drawings according to site conditions, client comments, and project changes.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, site measurements, and construction requirements.
• Maintain proper drawing records and ensure timely submission of drawings.
