Job summary

Union Jack Elevator Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Sales professional to drive lift installation, maintenance and modernisation opportunities. You will build client relationships, generate leads, prepare proposals, and close contracts to meet targets. Experience in the lift or related engineering industry is valued.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation and planning skills, with willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits within Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Building Services or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development or account management.
• Experience in lift/elevator/building services industry is a plus.
• Experience dealing with developers, contractors or facilities management is advantageous.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proactive in identifying sales opportunities and confident engaging customers.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good organisational skills managing multiple customers, quotations and opportunities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• Willing to travel for client meetings and site visits within Singapore.
• A valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities for lift installation, maintenance, modernisation and related lift services.
• Generate sales leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, market research and client visits.
• Establish and maintain relationships with developers, building owners, contractors and facilities managers.
• Understand customers' requirements and recommend lift solutions based on project needs and budgets.
• Conduct client meetings and site visits to identify requirements and opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders and other sales documentation.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms and contract conditions within guidelines.
• Follow up with prospects and convert enquiries into sales and contracts.
• Coordinate with technical/project/operations teams to meet requirements and ensure smooth handover.
• Maintain records of customer enquiries, sales activities, quotations and projects.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Maintain good relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
