Job summary

MINDSG LTD is seeking a Life Coach (ELP) to deliver high-quality daily care to residents with intellectual disabilities or autism. You will supervise wellbeing, provide training in independent living, leisure, sports and career development, and help residents engage in the community.

You will conduct screenings, onboarding, and ongoing support, ensuring safe, harmonious living. A Diploma and 1 year of experience are required; familiarity with residential services is an advantage; work includes

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma in any discipline.
• Min 1 year of working experience.
• Knowledge and experience in residential, assisted living, home based services, or disability service is an added advantage.
• Skills in planning and implementing community activity and training programmes.
• Proficient in Computer literacy skills - MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Support ELP Residents: screening interviews, onboarding, guidance for independent living, community activities, housemate harmony, conflict/emergency support.
• Case Stewardship: maintain records, care plans, incident reports, ICPs, KPI reporting support.
• Capacity Building (Skills): Life planning sessions, assess needs, coach residents in living skills and development.
• Capacity Building (Safety & Environment): develop training programs, monitor safety systems, mitigate hazards.
• Case Work: MDT reviews, family/careworker alignment for long-term planning.
• Community Integration: build rapport with families and partners, help residents access resources and travel safely.
