Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking a diligent Life Claims Administrator to join our Singapore operations. You will perform day-to-day claims administration, prepare correspondence, maintain records, and support timely progression of claims in a fast-paced life insurance environment.

Candidates typically have 1–3 years of relevant experience, familiarity with life insurance processes, and experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant life insurance claims experience.
• Familiarity with life insurance claims processes.
• Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day claims administration, including assignment/allocation of manual claims and support for routine claims processing activities.
• Prepare and issue claims correspondence (e.g., approval, rejection, ex-gratia letters) using approved templates and within agreed turnaround times.
• Maintain complete and accurate claim documentation, including proper filing (physical/electronic), indexing, and version control.
• Track supporting documents to enable timely progression of claims and maintain audit-ready records.
• Update and maintain accurate claim records in 2-3 mainframe processing systems (training will be provided; expected to achieve proficiency within agreed timelines).
• Ensure data entry is accurate, timely, and consistent with business requirements to support reporting and operational controls.
• Respond to basic enquiries through shared mailbox/CRMs, escalating non-routine issues to the claims assessors as required.
• Follow up on medical report requests and supporting documents with medical providers, policyholders, and agents to facilitate timely claims progression.
• Undertake additional tasks assigned by the Life Claims Team Lead to support operational priorities.
