You will develop SLAM algorithms, fuse LiDAR/IMU/camera data, and deliver robust sensor processing pipelines. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SLAM algorithms using LiDAR, IMU, cameras.
• Utilize sensor fusion and optimize for large-scale scans.
• Calibrate sensors and process point clouds with fast pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate algorithms into products.
• Contribute to roadmaps and R&D efforts.

Job Description:

We are looking for motivated and capable engineer to join our LiDAR & Visual SLAM engineering working on our reality capture product line.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the following algorithm
• State of the art SLAM algorithm utilizing LiDAR, IMU, cameras and various sensor-fusion technique
• Accurate sensor calibration pipeline
• Point Cloud processing and denoising pipeline
• Accurate and fast panoramic camera stitching algorithm
• Other sensor processing algorithms as required
• Ensure that the developed algorithm can process large scale scan
• Optimize algorithm to improve processing speed
• Assist in other point cloud related R&D efforts
• Work with different stake holders to ensure that the developed algorithms can be used and integrated into dC product line
• Coordinate with different stake holders to come up with product and development roadmap

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master or PhD in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with focus in robotics, computer vision and point cloud processing
• At least 3-5 years working experience in SLAM, point cloud processing and computer vision processing.
• Strong foundation on point cloud processing and computer vision.
• Proficient in modern C++ (17 and above) and comfortable with large code bases
• Able to work independently and with other team member to complete the allocated tasks on time.

• Bonus if the candidate has experiences in Jetson, embedded programming
