Job summary

CBRE GWS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Licensed Electrical Worker Grade 7 in Singapore to ensure safe operation, maintenance, inspection, testing and compliance of electrical installations and systems.

The role supports regulatory requirements and company safety policies while maximizing reliability and uptime. You will act as the LEW, oversee electrical systems, conduct inspections and testing, supervise contractors, and maintain accurate records and permits.

Qualifications

• Valid Singapore LEW Grade 7 license
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Min 5 years in electrical operations, maintenance, or facilities management

Responsibilities

• Act as the appointed LEW, ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Oversee operation, maintenance and reliability of electrical systems.
• Conduct inspections, testing, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for performance and safety.

• Support electrical upgrades and project execution from planning to completion.

The Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 7 is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and compliance of electrical installations and systems.The role ensures all electrical works are carried out in accordance with Singapore regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company safety policies while maintaining high reliability and operational uptime of electrical infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

• Act as the appointed LEW, ensuring electrical installations comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct inspections, testing, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure system performance and safety.
• Supervise contractors and vendors, ensuring work is completed safely and to required standards.
• Support electrical upgrade, replacement, and improvement projects from planning through execution.
• Maintain accurate technical records, certifications, permits, and compliance documentation.
• Promote a strong safety culture by conducting risk assessments, enforcing safe work practices, and supporting emergency response activities.

What You'll Need:

• Valid Singapore LEW Grade 7 License.
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimally 5 years of relevant experience in electrical operations, maintenance, or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, and protection systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and contractor supervision skills.
