Job summary

Love, Bonito is seeking a Legal Intern to support contract review, drafting, and regulatory research across local and international initiatives. You will work closely with our Legal Counsel and coordinate with stakeholders in multiple markets to ensure compliant, ethical business practices.

The role offers hands-on exposure to data privacy, policy development, and corporate governance within a fast-growing retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law.

The Role

As a Legal Intern at Love, Bonito, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of both local and international legal initiatives. Working very closely with our Legal Counsel, you will have the opportunity to deep dive into legal matters and gain deep insights of the ins and outs of a legal function in a fast‑growing retail company. You will also have first hand experience collaborating with and managing stakeholders of all levels and across all markets. We promise it will be an exciting, challenging and hands‑on experience!

Main Responsibilities:

• Contract review: Assist in reviewing and proofreading agreements and legal documents.
• Administrative support: Perform administrative tasks, such as assisting with contracts process and signing, maintaining legal databases, tracking deadlines, and managing legal documents and files.
• Legal research: Provide legal research support on various issues including regulatory compliance, contract interpretation and case law
• Compliance: Assist with ensuring that the organization complies with relevant laws and regulations by tracking changes in the legal landscape and helping to develop compliance programs and policies.
• Data Privacy and Security: Support efforts to maintain data privacy compliance
• Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure legal and ethical business practices.
• Assisting in all key legal‑centric projects

Requirements

You should have

Other Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law
• Based in Singapore / Malaysia / Hong Kong
• Prior experience in a legal environment would be an advantage
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Able to commit to a minimum of 3 months (6 months would be ideal)
