Job summary

Love, Bonito, Southeast Asia's leading womenswear brand, seeks a hands-on Materials, Production & Quality Intern in Singapore. You will support logistics, sample handling, and supplier risk management while collaborating with design, product development, and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Available for 6 months internship commitment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Natural excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Support logistical needs via tracking, receiving packing and unpacking of samples shipments.
• Manage sample fitting and photoshoot samples to ensure tasks are executed timely and accurately.
• Assist in planning supplier risk management protocols and managing supplier assessment & analysis.
• Keep tracking systems promptly updated for visibility to internal teams.
• Communicate with multiple vendors to ensure deadlines for all production and photoshoot samples are met.
• Raise issues of ordered styles that may bottleneck production and escalate as required.
• Attend quality complaints and feedback and work with cross-functional teams to investigate and respond.
• Assist with cross-functional inquiries and other relevant duties.

The role

We are searching for a hands-on and proactive Intern to support our Materials, Production & Quality function. You will also need to work collaboratively across design, product development, and commercial and creative teams. This is a vital role in the Product Operations Team that requires a driven individual with the abilities to be hands-on, have a keen eye for details, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support logistical needs via tracking, receiving packing and unpacking of samples shipments
• Manage sample fitting and photoshoot samples to ensure that tasks are executed timely and accurately
• Assist in planning out supplier risk management protocols and managing supplier assessment & analysis
• Keep all tracking systems promptly updated providing effective visibility to internal teams
• Communicate with multiple vendors to ensure deadlines for all production and photoshoot samples are met
• Raise any issues of ordered styles that will potentially bottleneck production and escalation of reporting where required
• Attend any quality complaints and feedback, work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate issues, and ensure timely responses
• Assist with any cross-functional team inquiries
• Support the department with other relevant duties as directed

Requirements

• Available for 6 months internship commitment

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational and planning skills
• Ability to research and understand technical documentation
• The willingness to explore and follow best practices
• Self-motivated
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrate experience managing multiple projects and/or tasks and easily switching focus as required
• Ability to interact with multiple levels of staff and express ideas articulately, verbally, and in writing to a variety of audiences
• Strong customer service skills
